Matthew DeAngelis (Editor) is currently a MFA candidate in Fiction at Wichita State University. He has received his MA in English from the College of Charleston and his BA in English from Flagler College. He has served as an Assistant Editor with Crazyhorse Literary Journal as well as an Assistant Editor with the Flagler Review. In addition, Matthew has served as the Vice President of the Lowcountry Initiative for the Literary Arts which has helped to establish a Creative Writing Curriculum for Charleston Country Schools. He has served as an Adjunct Instructor of English at both the College of Charleston and Trident Technical college.
Christopher Krueger (Assistant Editor) is an MFA candidate in Fiction at Wichita State University. He received his BA in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Classics, Philosophy, Comparative Literature, and History of Math and Science from the great books program at St. John’s College. After undergrad, Chris worked in Accounts Payable for a while before quitting in order to focus on his writing, coach a soccer team, and pursue his MFA degree.
Jake Russell (Poetry Editor) has a chapbook titled “Great Conversations, Greater Wasps” released through the Emerge Literary Journal. He also has poems published in the Open Window Review and The Weekenders Magazine. His fiction has been accepted in the Bellows American Review and is forthcoming in the Moon Hollow Press. He studies poetry at Wichita State University, has read for the Literary Underground magazine and presides over the English Graduate Student Association.
Trevor Fuller (Fiction Editor) graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and a minor in Film. He has been published in Wigleaf, Vinyl, Burningword, and Rainy Day, and was a contributor for the Daily Bruin. Some of his heroes include David Foster Wallace, Lydia Davis, and William Gaddis.
Tiffany Lear (Nonfiction Editor) is a third year creative writing MFA candidate in fiction at Wichita State University. She received her BA in English from Oklahoma State University. Prior to pursuing degrees in English and creative writing, Tiffany focused on journalism studies. During that time she served as news and features editor at The Daily O’Collegian and worked as an intern journalist with the Sand Springs Leader. She spends much of her spare time working on her first collection of short stories and watching bad horror movies on Netflix.
Kayla Haas (Public Relations Manager) is currently an MFA candidate in Fiction at Wichita State University. She received her BFA in creative writing from Stephen F. Austin in east Texas. She currently serves as Assistant Editor at Gingerbread House Literary Magazine. Her work has appeared in Gigantic Sequins, The Story Shack, Blue Lyra Review, and Psaltery and Lyre. She identifies most closely with the octopus (minus the cannibalism) and spends the majority of bar time prattling off nuclear bomb facts.
