In Print

Due to the exciting and diverse material we’ve received from the international writing community, we’ve decided to consider your submissions for not only our website, but also our university’s print journal, Mikrokosmos. Mikrokosmos has published work from our local Wichita writing scene for over fifty years, and we here on the staff are very excited to build on that tradition and aesthetic by featuring outstanding work from this new online project.

mojo, the online literary journal of the Wichita State University MFA program, is currently accepting submissions for its debut issues to be published in fall 2011.

This is your chance to help shape a literary journal. Though our sister publication, Mikrokosmos Literary Journal, has been publishing creative work for decades, mojo is brand new, and our aesthetic is still hovering in the TBD realm of the literary landscape. The current staff is open to a diverse array of styles of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. We seek both traditional storytellers and those experimental writers who weave tales that are lasting in voice, style, and narrative.

Send us that humor, send us that emotion, send us those stories and poems that will help mojo become a centerpiece in, and a talking point of, the literary community. mojo is looking for all writers, from the established, well-published to those emerging talents waiting to be discovered.
