We’re pleased to have received such a close read from reviewer Rudy Oldeschulte of The Review Review. He praised the inaugural issue for its balance of the playful, dark, and haunting. A number of works are discussed directly, like Stephanie Wilson’s “Compartments,” which Oldeschulte notes conveys “apprehension and anticipation… very delicately.”
Oldeschulte also enjoyed the design of the journal, saying:
“indeed, the format is interesting as one scrolls through the journal – offered in an effective and efficient design.”
In the end, the review concludes that
“Mojo is not only a good read, but an enjoyable experience – fun, thoughtful, and provocative.”
