Omega

By Ronald Zack

Rotting remains of disinterred,
disinherited, estranged,
excommunicated cooking
like compost, naturally

and organically reducing.
Admission to the bar is not a
vaccine against poverty
and medicine cannot cure

all the woes it created when
it gave birth to its industrial
masters. Generational wealth
is buried and exhumed, unborn

babies of trust funds cursing
longevity. Time to have
a conversation, talk about
the omega and the omega –

pull the plug,
celebrate the miracle
of death.
